GATH SURF - What can your GEDI water sports helmet do?
The GATH GEDI water sports surf helmet is selected for various professional activities such as PWC (power watercraft), jet skiing, helicopter and land sea rescue as well as water sports such as surfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, stand-up paddling, canoeing and kayaking, skydiving and more. It comes with removable hearing protection, spare comfort strips, chin strap, rash guard and storage bag. Reflective straps and industry-specific reflective stickers are available on request.
The GATH GEDI helmet is fully convertible and offers several performance benefits:
- Mini skull cap: removable ear pockets for maximum hearing, balance, cooling and freedom of movement.
- Full skull cap: Attachable ear pockets (55 gram set) for maximum coverage, stability, hearing protection, warmth and adjustable vents.
- Removable, shatterproof visors: UV protection for the eyes (UPF 50+, excellent protection category), glare protection, increased impact protection for the face, resistance to objects entering the eye.

- Shell: Durable, UV-stable, high-impact plastic.
- Visors: High-quality UV-stable, shatterproof plastic.
- Shields: UV-stable, shatterproof, flexible, durable plastic.
- Lining: Impact-resistant, non-water-absorbent foam.
- Headband: 10 mm thick, multi-impact resistant, non-water-absorbent foam.
- Comfort strip: Multi-impact resistant, non-water absorbent foam.
- Fittings: All customised screws and rivets of the Gath helmet are made of strong, corrosion-free and salt water resistant materials.
- Restraint system: Made of non-stretch, standardised webbing with standardised quick-release buckles and nylon-coated, non-water-absorbent foam for added comfort.
The helmet fits all sizes and offers customisation for a secure fit for head sizes from Small to XXX-Large. The lightweight Gath convertibles offer unbeatable comfort and a high level of protection against sun, wind, water and impact injuries.

Certified according to DIN EN 1385: Helmets for canoeing and white water.
Optionally available: peak (ribbed peak), adjustable visor (full visor or half visor), comfort strips for a better fit, camera adapter for GoPro and other cameras.

- XL = 595 - 610mm, fitted strip = 7.5mm, additional strip = 9mm
